Check out this very rare and special featurette about
Funeral in Berlin.
I found this very
rare featurette about Funeral in Berlin, called 'Man At The
Wall'. The original 16 mm film was in very bad shape, so
the whole transfer is a bit red. The first seconds of the
featurette can't be heard or are a bit shaky, but nevertheless
it is a very, very interesting 'making of ' documentary of
Funeral in Berlin, never seen before as far as I know. It is not
mentioned in any of the official pressbooks.
Enjoy this digital
transfer, it is 5.48 minutes long.
But...with the help
of
www.filmcollectief.nl
you can enjoy a completely remastered version. They are
specialised in '16 mm to dvd' transfers and they managed to
restore the beginning and they have filtered out the red colour.
For purists I left the original version on this page.
